Aurora Borealis Myths, Fine Art Print - A3 size

Fine Art Reproduction Print of Original Japanese Woodcut Print

Image size: 19.7 x 39.8 cm, paper size: 29.7 x 42 cm (printed on Awagami Murakumo Kozo select, White)

Edition of 1/50 (signed by the artist, certificate of authenticity), 2026

The print is based on an in-game photograph from the virtual reality experience “Rise of the Ice Queens,” which I created during an artist residency at Moskosel Creative Lab in Lapland, Sweden, in 2024. I visited the Ajtte Museum in Jokkmokk to research Sámi traditions, 3d scanned the Northern environments, and recorded 360 videos of the Aurora Borealis to build a virtual world covered in ice, snow, and skies illuminated by the Aurora.
